As a church family we are called to give care to and receive care from one another. Below you willfind ways to connect with different kinds of care at North Avenue. Every week our prayer team prays over the list of needs in the church. To be added to thelist, email prayer@napc.org.
Other prayer ministries include:
Healing prayer on Wednesday at lunch via Zoom.
Prayer before surgery.
Phone or in person prayer appointments.
- Pastors meet for pastoral care appointments.
- We offer financial coaching for those in need of support.
- Members visit those who are homebound or in the hospital.
- Our grief care team connects with those who have lost a loved one over the first year afterthe loss.
- Members knit or crochet prayer shawls, praying for the recipient as they knit, and theseshawls go out to members of our church or community who need a tangible expression of love.
- North Ave members arrange and deliver flowers every week to those whose day mightneed brightening.
- NAPC hosts a group of people who are members of adoptive families or are seeking to adoptor foster.
- We also have a lending library of resources supporting adoption and fostercare.
- Care teams come alongside those needing extra support during life crises.
- Meal ministry delivers meals to those in need of extra support.
