In this six-week brunch series\, we’ll walk through each movement of the PC(USA) order of worship—from the call to gather to the charge to go forth—and explore what it means\, why we do it\, and how it shapes our faith. Each week\, a speaker will lead us through a major part of worship\, using Scripture\, storytelling\, and real-life examples. Participants will add a new page to their personal worship booklet each week\, building a full service they can take into daily life\, share with loved ones\, or use on retreat. \nBecause worship isn’t just what we do on Sundays—it’s who we are becoming. \nJoin us in The Overlook after worship at 11:00 AM. DESCRIPTION:During adult discipleship classes\, the infant to kindergarten young disciples in The Lil Sphere are learning. They partake in fun\, interactive bible lessons tailored to their age range. \n  \nThe Sphere is our Sunday morning program for first grade through fifth grade at the 11:15 a.m. Discipleship hour. During this time\, our first through fifth-grade students will experience a large group time of creative Bible teaching that focuses on understanding and applying God’s word in our relationship with Him and others. This is followed by activities in small groups that build relationships between the children and Jesus\, their peers\, and their leaders and applying God’s word to their lives. We intentionally focus on the faith skills of Hearing (listening to God’s word)\, Praying (having a dialogue with God)\, Talking (articulating our faith)\, and Living (worshipping God with our lives).

DESCRIPTION:Again\, this year we have the opportunity to provide radical hospitality to the mainland Chinese students arriving at Georgia Tech who have come to us for 25 years for support and friendship. \nThis year as in the past\, we will offer airport pickup temporary housing and a big welcoming party at NAPC for the students. \nIf you would like to be a volunteer\, please consider how you might help! \n– Shadow Carol to learn logistics and preparations for the work \n– Provide bed and breakfast for 1-3 students in your home for 1-5 nights \n· Drive your vehicle to the airport to meet and transport one to three students. \n· Drive our new 15-passenger bus to pick up a small group of students. \n· Serve as a host/greeter for one of the buses. \n· Ride on the bus and be an airport greeter and luggage hauler. \n· Welcome them back to campus with ready snacks and helps. \n– Bring large pot soups or chili for serving students meals after they land. \n– Help with the Welcoming Party at North Avenue Church on August 16 \nGeorgia Tech plans to open as usual with classes beginning this year on August 18. That will mean that students will be arriving beginning the first week in August\, but most will arrive between the 9th and 16th of August. SUMMARY:The Sphere & Lil Sphere Sunday School
DESCRIPTION:During adult discipleship classes\, the infant to kindergarten young disciples in The Lil Sphere are learning. They partake in fun\, interactive bible lessons tailored to their age range. \n  \nThe Sphere is our Sunday morning program for first grade through fifth grade at the 11:15 a.m. Discipleship hour. During this time\, our first through fifth-grade students will experience a large group time of creative Bible teaching that focuses on understanding and applying God’s word in our relationship with Him and others. This is followed by activities in small groups that build relationships between the children and Jesus\, their peers\, and their leaders and applying God’s word to their lives. We intentionally focus on the faith skills of Hearing (listening to God’s word)\, Praying (having a dialogue with God)\, Talking (articulating our faith)\, and Living (worshipping God with our lives).

DESCRIPTION:We are privileged to partner with Pastor Maurice and Feet on the Street Ministries to provide showers\, clothes\, food\, friendship\, hope\, resources\, and help on Monday mornings from 8 a.m. to noon for unhoused women and children in our community. There are opportunities to volunteer by bringing breakfast (for 25)\, helping with the shower schedule\, distributing clothes and communing with our neighbors.
