DESCRIPTION:During adult discipleship classes\, the infant to kindergarten young disciples in The Lil Sphere are learning. They partake in fun\, interactive bible lessons tailored to their age range. \n  \nThe Sphere is our Sunday morning program for first grade through fifth grade at the 11:15 a.m. Discipleship hour. During this time\, our first through fifth-grade students will experience a large group time of creative Bible teaching that focuses on understanding and applying God’s word in our relationship with Him and others. This is followed by activities in small groups that build relationships between the children and Jesus\, their peers\, and their leaders and applying God’s word to their lives. We intentionally focus on the faith skills of Hearing (listening to God’s word)\, Praying (having a dialogue with God)\, Talking (articulating our faith)\, and Living (worshipping God with our lives).

DESCRIPTION:In the Sermon on the Mount\, Jesus declares\, “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them” (Matthew 5:17).  Last year\, we studied Jesus’ Galilean Ministry (Chapters 1-13). This year\, we will learn about Jesus’ Journey to Jerusalem (Chapters 14-28). Jesus foretold his death and resurrection\, telling his disciples in Matthew 20:18-19\, ” See\, we are going up to Jerusalem. And the Son of Man will be delivered over to the Chief Priests and Scribes\, and they will condemn him to death and deliver him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified\, and he will be raised on the third day.” \nWe will once again hold two separate meeting times:\n• Wednesday Evenings 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. via Zoom\,\n• Thursday Mornings 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. in person at NAPC\, \nWhile we will be studying the same Scriptures\, each group has its own particular style and format. The Wednesday evening group includes the opportunity to discuss the Scripture\, pray together\, and fellowship with other class members. The Thursday morning group focuses on spiritual formation practices and prayer\, offering an opportunity for in-person fellowship. FCS is a North Avenue Mission partner that supports families in South Atlanta. Parents will be able to come to their location and purchase a toy at an affordable cost\, creating a special memory for their children. FCS is planning to serve over 1000 families this year. We will be helping wrap and organize the toys during our Service opportunity on December 13th.

DESCRIPTION:We are privileged to partner with Pastor Maurice and Feet on the Street Ministries to provide showers\, clothes\, food\, friendship\, hope\, resources\, and help on Monday mornings from 8 a.m. to noon for unhoused women and children in our community. There are opportunities to volunteer by bringing breakfast (for 25)\, helping with the shower schedule\, distributing clothes and communing with our neighbors. This year\, we will learn about Jesus’ Journey to Jerusalem (Chapters 14-28). Jesus foretold his death and resurrection\, telling his disciples in Matthew 20:18-19\, ” See\, we are going up to Jerusalem. And the Son of Man will be delivered over to the Chief Priests and Scribes\, and they will condemn him to death and deliver him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified\, and he will be raised on the third day.” \nWe will once again hold two separate meeting times:\n• Wednesday Evenings 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. via Zoom\,\n• Thursday Mornings 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. in person at NAPC\, \nWhile we will be studying the same Scriptures\, each group has its own particular style and format. The Wednesday evening group includes the opportunity to discuss the Scripture\, pray together\, and fellowship with other class members. The Thursday morning group focuses on spiritual formation practices and prayer\, offering an opportunity for in-person fellowship. FCS is a North Avenue Mission partner that supports families in South Atlanta. Parents will be able to come to their location and purchase a toy at an affordable cost\, creating a special memory for their children. FCS is planning to serve over 1000 families this year. We will be helping wrap and organize the toys during our Service opportunity on December 13th.
