Throughout the year\, they have the opportunity to share their joyful worship during church services\, bringing smiles and inspiration to our congregation. \nFor more information about the Cherub Choir\, please contact Ms. Vernay Dabney at vernaysoprano@yahoo.com. \n  \nJUNIOR CHOIR (First-Fifth grade) Sunday Mornings. \nThe Junior Choir at North Avenue welcomes children in grades 1 through 5 to grow their faith and musical skills through worship. Meeting on Sunday mornings after the Young Disciples message\, this group builds on earlier experiences in the Cherub Choir by introducing musical notation\, simple two-part harmony\, vocal technique\, and listening skills. \nGuided by the scripture\, “… sing with the spirit\, but also with the understanding” (I Corinthians 14:15)\, the Juniors not only learn songs but also deepen their understanding of Christ and His teachings. They explore movement-based worship through expressive choreography\, combining music with creative expression to enhance their praise. \nThe Junior Choir joyfully participates in worship services throughout the year\, including Palm Sunday and the Christmas season.
