The Avenue February 3

On Tuesday, Feb 3, Lee Burrows, Terrence Smith and Rev. Derrick Lockwood, leaders of the Hopeful Honest Initiative, will share what they have learned on the topic of “Becoming Comfortable with Discomfort.”  The initiative was co-founded by Lee Burrows, Rev. Lockwood and others in 2020 as a response to the murder of George Floyd. Terrence Smith currently serves as co-chairman of the non-profit. Their purpose is “to pursue mutual understanding through hopeful, honest discussions and courageous relationships built on trust and leading to meaningful action.”
